Aleksander Ozolins, Horn
Aleksander Ozolins completed his graduate studies at The Manhattan School of Music in the Orchestral Performance Department. As an orchestral performer, Ozolins has played in a number of countries throughout Europe, Asia and Central America. He has been a member of the Verbier (Switzerland) Orchestra, The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular Orchestra, and The Philharmonic Orchestra of The Americas. Ozolins is currently engaged with The Chamber Orchestra of New York and holds the principal horn position with The Florida Grand Opera, the Palm Beach Symphony, and the Miami Mozarteum.
As a chamber musician, Ozolins also has performed on period instruments with groups including Sinfonia New York, Tempesta di Mare of Philadelphia, and the Trinity Consort of Portland, Oregon. As a freelance musician, Ozolins can be found performing anywhere from Broadway shows, to recording studios, to popular music venues. He also maintains a private teaching studio in Jersey City, NJ and runs OzoStudio Services, a production and recording company.
